Marcus Wareing at Wimbledon 2023
We are so pleased to announce that Marcus Wareing will be the concluding guest chef at the iconic Rosewater Pavilion at Wimbledon Tennis Championships 2023.
A long-time Wimbledon resident and fan of the prestigious tennis tournament,, Marcus jumped at the chance to share his take on contemporary European flavours with local British ingredients with the guests of the award-winning, premium+ official hospitality experience.
Dishes will hero British produce such as Chalk Stream trout, crab from Cornwall, duck from Devon and Herdwick lamb from the Lake District. Served alongside sensational springtime ingredients, including asparagus, berries, cherries and summer truffle, it’s sure to be a feast for the senses.
“My team and I are excited to be working alongside Keith Prowse to create this celebratory Wimbledon hospitality offering within the grounds of this iconic British summer event, and in my home city of London,” says Marcus.
“As far as I’m concerned, the sky’s the limit - we really look forward to this summer of 2023, and welcoming diners to SW19.”
The Rosewater Pavilion is set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens, accentuated by subtle floral touchpoints, personifying the theme of grass-court tennis in an English garden. It is located within the All England Lawn Tennis Club Grounds, offering a stunning outdoor terrace with views towards Centre Court.
Marcus will be cooking at the Rosewater Pavilion for the four final days of the tournament, celebrating Finals Weekend. Tickets for the 2023 experience are sold out; register your interest for the 2024 tournament here.
